NGCP turns over three-classroom bldg to Pendulunan Elementary School in Baloi, LDN

Pendululunan Elementary School in Balo-i Lanao del Norte formally accepted on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 three-classroom building donated by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
In a simple turn over ceremony that was held at Pendulunan Elementary School gymnasium the symbolic key was accepted by Samantira Saripada DepEd District Supervisor, Ms. Omilhaya M. Camid, School Head, and Police Inspector Alibsar Daraba who represented the Municipal Mayor.
In the acceptance message of Ms. Camid, she expressed her heartfelt thanks to NGCP kind hearted people especially Eng. Avelino Q. Dawis, District 2 Head, NGCP for allocating the 3 classroom building upon her request.
“One of my dreams and goals is to have a classroom that will be conducive to learning environment,” Ms. Omilhaya said.
Originally there are seven classrooms with the three (3) building classrooms that had been added by NGCP — the kindergarten and Grade One students can now be separated and we no longer have a shortage of classrooms” Ms. Omilhaya said.
Engr. Avelino Q .Dawis, NGCP District 2 Head, in his response encouraged the school teachers and students to take good care of the classrooms. “This is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility Program and NGCP’s way of thanking the school for the support they had rendered in safeguarding the power facilities in this area.” Dawis said.
An Orientation on Transmission Line Safety and Anti-Pilferage to teachers and students was conducted by NGCP personnel’s lead by Ms. Beth Ladaga Regional Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Officer – North Mindanao during the short program.
