LSPPO registers over 6,000 drug surrenderees in Lanao
Police Senior Superintendent Froilan F. Guidilla, OIC provincial director of the Lanao del Sur Provincial Police Office (LSPPO) disclosed recently that the peace and order situation in the province is normal.
He said the Police Provincial Office is concentrating its efforts in the campaign against illegal drugs. He said Oplan Double Barrel had been very effective.
He said as of August 4, 2016, the provincial police office has registered 6,079 drug personalities who voluntarily surrendered to local authorities, 114 drug suspects arrested, and three killed.
He said the anti-drugs campaign has been intensified, pointing out, that the fight against illegal drugs is a fight of the people who want our communities to be peaceful.
He said we should take part in making changes in our communities. He said the people should change their attitudes so we can have genuine change. PP
