PRESIDENT MUSLIM DESIGNATES FIVE OFFICIALS TO ADMINISTRATIVE HEADS
MARAWI CITY (February 19, 2016) -- In the exigency of service, Dr. Macapado A. Muslim, President of the Mindanao State University System recently designated five officials of MSU-Marawi main campus to administrative heads.
Dr. Glenn A. Lorenzo, faculty of the College of Engineering and former dean of the College Information and Technology (CIT), was designated as Assistant Vice President for Administration and Finance.
Engr. Preciosa A. Dimaporo, Engineer IV, was also designated as Director of Physical Plant Division effective January 1, 2016 and shall remain in force until revoked or modified by competent authority.
Moreover, Engr. Dimaporo is entitled to RATA and other authorized privileges, subject to government accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
Other officials designated are Dr. Solaiman B. Mangorsi as Director of the Pre-University Center; Dr. Minerva M. Naga, Associate Professor V of the College of Education main campus designated as Director of the Office of Admission.
Professor Amer D. Pangandaman, Director, Office of Alumni Relations was re-assigned as Director of the Administrative Services Division.
As noted by the employees of the main campus, Pangandaman in several times used to be designated as Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance, in order not to jeopardize the management operations on financial matters.
Academic employees designated to perform administrative functions in addition to their regular academic duties and responsibilities shall be entitled to RATA and other authorized privileges, subject to usual government accounting and auditing rules and regulations, perform their regular academic duties and responsibilities.
Organic administrative employee shall be entitled also to RATA and other privileges stated in their respective Special Orders signed by the University System President.(ASA Al-Maradj Madale)
