Conspiracy against the city government on highly soaring crime rates?

A member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the Islamic City of Marawi thought some people with vested interest are behind the dissemination of misguiding information regarding the proliferating criminalities in the locality.
Councilor Abdane Alonto pointed out in a Consultative Meeting held recently at the Conference Hall of DXSR Building here that such is aimed to discredit the city incumbent administration.
The meeting was held to address matter of vital importance particularly on the current Peace and Order situation in Marawi City.
It was attended by representatives from various sectors including the PNP, military, CSOs, the media and other stakeholders.
Councilor Abdane Alonto stressed that the killings happening in the city are done by perpetrators who are not from nor living in the city.
He said there are also culprits whose only motive is to sow criminalities in the city in order to discredit the incumbent city administration.
He said the city administration through the authorities including the PNP and the military is doing its best to solve this problem.
The meeting, held to address matter of vital importance particularly on the current Peace and Order situation in Marawi City, was attended by multi-sectoral representatives.
Dr. Ali Laguindab who heads the good governance planning for the city led the meeting.
