Congresswoman Dimaporo delivers health services to 2 towns
Tubod, Lanao del Norte – In the celebration of her 57th birthday, Lanao del Norte 1st District Representative Imelda Dimaporo organized a free medical and dental mission for the coastal towns of Bacolod and Maigo, this province.
More than 1,000 indigent residents from the two municipalities availed of free medical check-up and tooth extraction on January 11 and 12, 2016. Patients were also given free medicines and vitamins to help improve their health condition.
Congresswoman Dimaporo also distributed medicine kits to senior citizens and donuts to children present during the healthcare outreach activity.
The two-day humanitarian event had the theme “Gikan sa Inyo, Para Kaninyo”.
Doctors and nurses from the Provincial Health Office and Provincial Hospitals were tapped to provide medical consultations and assistance, while personnel from the Provincial Community Affairs Office and 1st and 2nd congressional offices gave logistical support for the medical mission.
