"Dilimbayan Primary School" in focus
THE SCHOOL THAT SERVES TWO TOWNS
First of a Series
There is one school that has been serving two municipalities of the province due to its location, convenient for pupils in neighbour barrios of the two towns.
Dilimbayan Primary School (DPS) is indeed serving the municipality of Bubong and the municipality of Ditsaan Ramain that sometimes parents of elementary pupils are asking the primary school would be elevated to an elementary that can serve Grade V and VI pupils.
Dilimbayan Primary School has made a name and such a reputation is maintained due to the hard work of its acting principal Ms. Almairah Balangi Alangadi, with the active cooperation of her teachers and the community as well.
In fact the school’s PTCA headed by Mike Solaiman is all praise of her. Even the barangay officials in Ramain Bubong also commended her.
The young Alangadi finished her elementary education in 1990 at Bayabao Elementary School, one of the old schools in Ditsaan Ramain.
She graduated high school from Adiong Memorial National High School, also in Ditsaan Ramain, in 1994.
She finished college with the degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) at Jamiatul Philippine Al-Islamia (JPI) in 1999.
Alangadi also holds a six month course on computer studies.
And she passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) in August 2005 holding a license no. 0887345 released on November 20, 2005.
Alangadi started her career as Teacher –1 from 2008 to 2010, Teacher-3 from 2010 to12, Teacher-3 as Teacher-In-Charge in 2012-2013.
Today, she is the school in-charge or acting principal of Dilimbayan Primary School, the school that serves two municipalities.
She has attended several seminars, trainings and conferences to augment her know-how in the field of education as a teacher.
Almairah Balangi Alangadi is the daughter of Binayawan Mambuay Alangadi and Omambai Balangi Alangadi.
She is married to Aclima Ragondongan Mala.
They were blessed with two children—Sharief Ali and Rashied-Ali.
