Nonie Sumpingan, other LDS I-B officials attend 9th National Education Summit

Ms. Nonie D. Sumpingan, assistant to the district supervisor of Taraka I, schools division of Lanao del Sur I-B, and other officials from the division attended the 9th National Education Summit held last month at the Ateneo Professional Schools Auditorium, Rockwell Center, Makati City.



Taraka town mayor Nasiba G. Sumagayan and ex-mayor lawyer Amenodin U. Sumagayan also attended the summit.

The two-day Summit was sponsored by the Synergia Foundation, Inc. and was attended by top local executives and educators across the country.

It tackled issues on the state of the education in the country including the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) amidst the fast moving global education and the K-12 system.
