SENATORIAL ASPIRANT FREDDIE AGUILAR VISITS MARAWI

MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur: Senatorial aspirant Freddie Aguilar said he first lost trust and confidence with the government an for so long he did not cast his vote. But when he learned that Mayor Rodrigo Duterte would run for the presidency, he changed his mind and helped him because like him, he also loves the country.

He said Duterte is his friend for about 30 years.

Aguilar who visited Marawi recently to meet his friends and supporters and to extend assistance to the victims of the Marawi Siege, said that among the factor why he lost his trust in the government was the case of Hacienda Luisita owned by the family of the late president Cory Aquino. 

Aguilar said he thought Cory would really give those lands to the tenants but what happened he said is that only those lands owned by her political opponents were released to the tenants while her family were not.

Aguilar, a convert to Islam, is tagged by his friends as Boses ng Masa. - RSP
