IPHO-LDS holds Evaluation Exam for NDPs and PHAs

As part of the process for the renewal of Nurses and Health Associates employed under Nurse Deployment Project and Public Health Associates Program of the Department of Health, the Integrated Provincial Health Office headed by Dr. Alinader D. Minalang, conducted an evaluation exam last June 19 and 20, at the Social Hall of the Provincial Capitol, Marawi City.

The said exam was clustered into four clusters with the first and second batches attending the 10am-12noon and 1pm-3pm of the first day and the third batch and fourth at the same schedules on the second day.

The exam was done in order to assess the skills and knowledge of the NDPSs and PHAs in regards to their working areas, roles and responsibilities in carrying out the different health programs and services under the Department of Health in their respective areas around the province.

The exam was also one of the ways that the IPHO-LDS is evaluating the quality of the health care the community is receiving.

A total of 295 nurses and 27 health associates currently deployed around the 39 municipalities and 5 districts hospital took the exam.
