COUNTLESS people wonder how Alzeimer “JunJun” D. Lucman landed first in the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Marawi in the just concluded elections when he did not campaign so hard to the max for his re-election..

In an unexpected encounter with this writer on Wednesday at Robinson’s Place here, the number one voted city councilor said he took the campaign easily during the 2019 midterm elections where he ran for re-election as Marawi City councilor.

Lucman said he never did have a caravan which is usually done by almost all candidates. Even rallies he seldom went.

But he attributed his re-election to his concern in settlement of family feud, plus a good rapport and public relations with the community.

"True and dedicated public service is the foremost asset of a politician," he added.

"Ibinoto ako ng tao dahil sa pursigi ko tumulong sa ibat ibang community ng lungsod," JunJun said.

"Ngayon nanalo ako mas marami pa akong mga advocacy with the approval of the city mayor Atty. Majul U. Gandamra. Isa sa mga advocacy ko ay magkaroon ng Peoples Day a week, two weeks or monthly. Ilagay sa Desk para pakinggan ang mga grievances ng mga tao or mga IDPs para mabigyan ng Action agad, lalo na ngayong hindi pa natatapos ang rehabilitation sa Most Affected Area (MAA)...  there is so many issues na kailangan bigyan ng pansin," Lucman emphasized.
