MSUS, ARMM, TESDA, OPAPP start the 2017 Mindanao Peace Summit

DAVAO CITY,  March 18 -- The 2017 Mindanao Peace Summit and Muslim Business Congress started here Saturday morning under the auspices of the Mindanao State University System (MSUS) in collaboration with Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Peace Process (OPAPP).



The opening program was opened by Dr. Habib W. Macaayong, MSU System president, who gave a brief opening remark after banging the gong that signified the program opening. And Davao City Mayor Inday Duterte-Carpio was represented by Councilor Danny Dayanghirang who said he was so impressed Lake Lanao during the political campaign of which he was involved under the candidacy of Duterte.

The first session of the Summit which is about Peace Process under the Duterte Administration was chaired by Dr. Mary Grace Guinto Sali, MSUS secretary with Dr. Firdausi I. Y. Abbas, BTC commissioner; Atty. Raissa Jajurie; and Naguib Sinarimbo as panelists.

Speaker Jesus Dureza, OPAPP secretary, was represented by OPAPP AsSec. Dixon Hermoso.
