In a brief hasty ceremony late in the rainy afternoon of June 23, Col. Alex T Aduca, assumed command of the 4th Mechanized Infantry (Kalasag) Battalion turned over to him by Col Anthon Abrina who led the unit in the last little over a year.
Col Gilbert Gapay, Assistant Mechanized Infantry Division Commander who presided over the command turnover told newsmen that Abrina is leaving for a higher assignment. TNRS
