Opinion. Who is IN and Who is OUT?

In Baseball, it is either one is IN or he is OUT. In politics, one may be OUT but is still IN or IN but still OUT.

In Pantar, Lanao del Norte, Tago says he is IN and Limbona is OUT. But Limbona is still IN.

In Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte, the Supreme Court said that Arnado is OUT and Capitan is IN. But Arnado is still IN and Capitan is still OUT.

In Iligan City, both are IN. Marzo is IN as Acting Mayor at City Hall and Regencia is IN jail.

However, Regencia while IN jail wants to be IN City Hall too.

Regencia’s supporters had “Jericho Marches” around City Hall. But Acting Mayor Marzo and his supporters did not tumble down.

They want Marzo OUT but they cannot bring Regencia IN because he is still IN somewhere else.

Is there madness around? A Comic strip of old was entitled “There ought to be a Law.” In the Philippines today, there are laws but many appear toothless!

Lanao del Norte is now on “Paperless Legislation.” In Iligan, City Councilors are still carrying folders containing voluminous documents.

Years ago, Iligan’s legislators had a joint session with the Municipal Council of Lugait, Misamis Oriental. The latter were already using “Paperless Legislation.”

No one is saying, Iligan City Councilors are computer-illiterates. Perhaps, they are just too poor to buy laptops. Their Committee Expenses are used on manual work.

Regencia’s men call SP manual workers, “ghost casuals.” He clipped the powers of the Vice Mayor so that the latter cannot hire manual workers and he got a 6-months suspension for grave abuse of authority.
