That school named Mapandi still leads in its own right
School president Atty. Mustapha revealed his school is doing fine though population decreases a little bit this time.
And that is understandable considering the proliferation of so many schools in the city and the province.
The effect of the Coco scam that drained billions of pesos of local economy has much impact in the local economy and President Mapandi looks at it as another reason.
Meanwhile, Mapandi offers the following courses:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (BSMT)
Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE)
Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd)
Bachelor of Science in Management (BSMA)
School of Midwifery (GM)
Associate in Computer Science (ACS)
Science High School (Complete Science Curriculum)
Elementary Department (with Computer Education for both Boys and Girls)
Pre – school ( boys and girls).
President Mapandi said nursing and midwifery are their priority because Mapandi is a Medical School.
As for rating in government examinations, the school is performing well.
In recent board examinations, 13 have passed for nursing; midwifery, 8; and education, 6.
Mapandi attributed the many passers to the school’s competent and efficient teaching force and management as well as its partnership with SLR , one of the most reviewer in Manila.
The school is planning to expand its reviews among students to three rounds before graduation.
Another priority of Mapandi is infrastructure which is to be done course by course. By second semester of 2015, physical changes will be started.
School president Mapandi hoped the students will do their part as the success depends o n the cooperation and partnership of the administration and the students.
And lastly, his message to those who want to enroll in Mapandi is that “Learning is Fun and Meaningful.”
Hindi ka lng pumapasok kasi sinabi ng parents mo, pumapasok ka kasi masaya ka na natuto ka, Atty. Mapandi said.
“Our Paradigm is “we want the students to appreciate learning by molding their behavior.”
“If ever you want to enrol in MAPANDI, one thing that we guarantee is that you will enjoy your learning. Because learning is very important to your life, however if you don’t enjoy your learning you will not maximize your thoughts.
