Cruzalloma Agri-Learning Site FBS Iligan, Ms. Marie Grace N. Halibas and Dr. Lito Quirog of ATI were the facilitators of the said activities.

Halibas told The New Ranao Star that 30 students are about to graduate from this program soon.

Veranda their first destination offers varieties of organic vegetables such as okra, eggplant, lettuce, chinese kangkong, radish, carrots, malunggay, cabbage, pechay and etc.

It also accepts as venues for agricultural trainings and other functions. It has dormitories for the guests to stay. It serves delicious fresh food with most ingredients just gathered from their garden.

Joy, the owner, said “Success is not a gauge of Money, for it is in Hard Work that you will acquire it”.

F & N Farm was the next stop, where the group stayed overnight - some in tents while others were housed in its two-bedrooms building.

The farm is abundant in coconut trees, fish ponds, coffee, cacao, cassava, corn, rice and varieties of livestock.

Some of the participants enjoyed fishing, gathering of cassava and coconuts and catching native chicken and duck.

Everything that were gathered and caught were weighed, paid and cooked for breakfast and lunch.

In this farm the guests are the ones who gather and cook the things they eat.

The group also visited the Malaybalay National High School 4 H Organic Garden and the Secret Garden of the same City.

It is through the knowledge of each of the participants learned from these farms that they may bring Organic Farming to Iligan City.
